You kiss me and I think of how bad it will hurt my boyfriend if he only knew

Were so sinsitive

Scared to hurt those sweet souls who are clueless of our deceit

If only we were heartless

Then we could leave

Run-away together in your sexy black car

Never looking back

Only thinking of ourselves

But we can't. . .we care too much

This curse were forced to have

I see you everyday at school

I wanna run into your arms

Kiss you without holding back

But she's my best friend. . it would kill her to see

Just like it would kill him

Every embrace

Every touch

Hidden. . .only to be found behind closed doors

We wanna be together

Wanna shout it from the highest mountains

Put it on billboards for the whole world to know

But your friends wouldn't approve

I'm not one of you

And that scares you. . .being rejected by the guys

Cuz your love isn't a cheerleader or blonde

So held back by our pretend life

Girlfriend. . .Boyfriend. . .Friends

Never embracing our feelings

Too consumed with fear of hurt and rejection

If only we were braver. . .stronger

Then maybe this could be. . .our perfect love
