Truth by freedom

Truth by freedom

A Poem by Jqjohnson

The erroneous victories by the stallions on the hill are irrelevant
Blood shadows and muddy shores
Burn deep, down, to their core.

Find yourself and speak this day
If you're not in line, you're in the way
Visions and thoughts gather outside the door
Collectively organizing before they take the floor

Shapes in the mirrors
What do you see
Filled to the edge, ever floating around the rim
Sights of luxury, seductively rush to your limbs

Freedom is taught and freedom is learned
Mistaking longevity as wisdom
Translation is needed here
Childhood monsters are not your fear

Optical promises so often unfulfilled
Trainyard dogs searching for a meal
Repetition does not bring truth
Feasting on lies 'til long in the tooth
