Living...

Living...

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

For Creative Poetry

"
A coherent train of thought
nigh impossible
once this effervescent liquid
quenches my parched mind.

The world's cares vanish
along with my dexterity
in attaining involvement
in life's richness.

Leaving my maltreated self
wishing again for life's aphrodisiac
to beckon me back to the
love of living and being in
a world of sensual delight.

Ah, there's nothing I love more than a drunken woman!--unless, of course, it's a friendly drunken woman.
"Living..."--or as we literalists like to call it, "Living Three Dots"--is so exceptionally good, I have no non-trite superlative with which to describe it.
Guess I'm forced to go with "intoxicating."
I enjoyed your unique little creation very much, Judy.

I love this as a whole and yet this stanza seals the deal.. Beautifully expressed..x
