Just the worst kind of day...

Just the worst kind of day...

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

Yeah, it's lame, but I was amusing myself :) lol

"
Well, it started out to be a right fine morning
and then it went down from there.

Can you believe I was yanked
out of my nice earthy home.

Stuck in a styrofoam container
and then taken to the North Pole practically!

The cretins!

As if this wasn't bad enough
an earthquake ensued with loud rumblings.

Then those cretins, they started shouting,
seemed all excited about something.

There were all these lines and poles
flying around.  Wretched beings!

Things finally settled down for a bit
and you guessed it. I was pulled out of the box.

And, the most ungodly thing was shoved in my backside
Talk about a real downer day!

And, before you know it,
I'm flying through the air like a snail on speed!

Oh, that's not even the worst folks!
I land right in an ocean of water!!

As I sink to the bottom,
contemplating a retaliation,

Would you believe! I'm attacked!
Swallowed whole by a monstrous thing.

Then yanked about stuck in its mouth.
We both resurface to face those cretins again!

Actually, the monster didn't seem so bad.
I tell ya, gimme me a monster any day.  Sighhh...

Thinking this day couldn't get any worse
I start to relax, looking forward to a bit of a rest.

Then, d****t, I'm sailing through the air again!
What the hell???

Boy, do I need a day off........Great, here comes another monster fishhhh...

A most delivered and casted prose, I imagine us all in this very situation, as always Judy you strike at the heart in all of us, great read.
