Im a little girl

torn in two by two ideas

one half goes one way...to stay

the second goes another...to go

i dont know what to do...

so confused...so lost...

im being told different things from both sides....

who do i believe?....they both say that the other is bad...

i cant decide and its tearing me apart.....

Beautiful. The tragedy of a home divided, of a child caught, struggling in the middle, fighting a battle that is not hers to fight. You express, with clever conciseness, the feeling of despondency and the lack of focus or direction a child might feel in such a situation. You wrote with compassion and expressed her frailty well.
