So Far Away

So Far Away

So far away

and yet

when the night is warm and the air is thick

and the motion of the breeze
gently

tickles my skin

…like your soft breath
on the nape of my neck…

oh oui mon amour

suddenly
you are here

and before I can focus

before I remember

my lips whisper

stay

…floating

like a secret

on the warm night air…

for a moment

I am yours

The longing for that someone special.....I am struggling with this every day. The chance to hear her voice, feel her touch is like a dream but a nightmare too. I close my eyes and see her and know that patience is what is needed if my love is so strong.

This is simply touching and resinates with me.

Regards
Troy

When there is a strong connection between two people/lovers you can feel each other closeness on a soul level, I don't mean the feeling of missing someone but the power of feeling each other's essence. Deep meaning in this poem.
