Warmed

Warmed

A Poem by MsJewel
"

~ a little scribble on a sunny spring afternoon ~

"

Spring floats in…

                 as graceful

as the marshmallow cream clouds

dotting a blue sky

twirling slowly

on the kiss of a breeze

warmed

with the scent of flowers

tiny buds decorating the morning glories

calling quietly

to a bumble bee

buzzing about

I breathe in deep

the fragrance of spring

reminiscing

of long walks and lazy picnics

under this same sky

and waking to the scent of morning glories

calling quietly

on the kiss of a breeze

…warmed

hi Julie, wish i lived where you do its still chilly here which is really strange, usually sweating buckets by April lol, another intensely beautiful poem from your very fine mind, you make the scene's so real i could walk right into them

'I breathe in deep
the fragrance of spring'

This poem made me feel the gentle warmth of spring too. Your words tucked me under floral blankets with creamy clouds twirling in the pearl-blue skies, and sheltering me from the chill that the past winter has lent.
I love the personification of the morning glories that beckon the breeze and the bumble bees to explore their core.
Wonderful writing, as usual, ma'am!!! :))

Another write on "spring". Seemed "spring" is your favorite season. Nice. Photography-Art-Work's too good to enjoy with your deepen words. Your poetry seems like a sweet-romantic-lullaby - Morning kisses. Deep sighs. Yawn with pleasure. Breezy winds touched upon hearts with softness. Nice flow of ink.

This is a great representation of the beauty of spring, minus the pollen, haha. Nice work.

Julie, Aaah you've done it again. We have been having rain for three solid days now (tornado warnings yesterday in western PA) and it's beating against my office window two feet from me right now. But your write, with its gloriously rich imagery and melodic writing style have me daydreaming of robins and dandelions and yes, morning glories (which are common around here). Picnics can be great too, but somehow millions of flies always intercept an invitation and show up hungry! Thank you for taking me away from the storm ever so briefly, it was a great trip! take care...dan

dear Julie... How do I love you in the
Spring when flowers appear like
sonnets in the rain... You nurture
romance like violins softly playing...
Warm nautical winds and sandy shores.
A gentle poem that leaves us with
visions of seagulls against a soft blue
sky. truly... Pat
