AND YOU SAIL AWAYA Poem by prachi prangya agastii try hold on to as you slip away....Serendipity falls in the mist as I stand
still While the sun goes down the endless
horizon And my heart aches in solitude of
despair Kiss of white-capped ripples wash these
weary feet Lulls me to the yonder land in
enchanted lullabies The whispers of your moist breath
echoes a longing A tear rolls down again down this
cheek
Memories vanish up and off And midst the fairy-tale whispers my
fate A broken heart still leans into the
maze And I try to hold on as you sail away
Beautiful choreography moments in
credits roll Still stir the nerves in this
infinite night The gentle rhythm soothes the heavy
sigh As I remember The warmth of your slow forming smile I miss us as I remember how it used
to be When nothing else matters but you and
me
But memories vanish up and off And midst the fairy-tale whispers my
fate A broken heart still leans into the
maze And I try to hold on as you sail away
Frozen I stand with your words that
echoes “I have to go away someday”, you said
I remember In that instant the sky was intensely loud I could feel myself tear away with
him gone so far I felt dizzy with a fear sinking down Into horrible blackness The cry that bleeds waits for storm
to pass When it hurts to know Your heart holds a different face With no regrets some moments you left
behind And life moved on as I stood still
Twinkling stars of silver sky did
fall apart I broke into pieces with scars to
mend And I try to hold on to you with all
my heart But a tear rolls down this cheek While you sail away
