Summer Rain

Summer Rain

A Poem by prachi prangya agasti
"

Tanhaaiyaan

"

A blank stare

Into the great fire of empty spaces

As I fall apart into shards

Of terrifying memories

Constantly yearning

A righteous companionship

And amidst the horrible trap

Of catastrophes and poignant moments

I long for my summer rain

A haunting gleam

Of self-destruction and terrible abyss

Constantly drowning

With violent stabs of solitude

I finally long to breathe

A desperate attempt to cling

To another unbroken soul

Amidst the slow motion

Of hands of a clock

I long for my summer rain

Me too dear poet. The cold of Winter is dong me in. I need a warm Summer day. I enjoyed your words and thoughts in the amazing poetry.

An excellent use of imagery that is comfortable in its association, well paced, good use of line length,
and..Tanhaaiyaan intrigues me ! Sounds great !
