Summer RainA Poem by prachi prangya agastiTanhaaiyaanA blank stare Into the great fire of empty spaces As I fall apart into shards Of terrifying memories Constantly yearning A righteous companionship And amidst the horrible trap Of catastrophes and poignant moments I long for my summer rain
A haunting gleam Of self-destruction and terrible abyss Constantly drowning With violent stabs of solitude I finally long to breathe A desperate attempt to cling To another unbroken soul Amidst the slow motion Of hands of a clock I long for my summer rain
