Mending

Mending

A Poem by While the blossoms still cling

I see his face for the first time in a year
And instantly, gone is my fear
A smile breaks on his face
As we rush to embrace
It's been too long to be away
From this boy who makes my day
And for another week or so
He is all mine to know
So my heart begins to mend
For I am happy again
