Constant push and pull

Constant push and pull

A Poem by While the blossoms still cling

He pushed me aside
Without even a good bye
But then, without warning
He wanted me back, the next morning

A constant push and pull
Like a rock breaking through the hull
I say it doesn't hurt, I'm fine
Because he's so kind

It causes me more pain than I let on
Only being loved when he's turned on
This will only end in despair
So let go, Clairebear

Author's Note

While the blossoms still cling
The rock breaking through the hull metaphor doesn't quite work, but it was all I could come up with at 3am.

Letting go of love is always hard, but letting go before being pulled down is good.
