Do you see the painting or the dots?

 

By standing so close

You managed to distance yourself

From yourself

 

You were burned in the heat

Emanating from the source

 

Simply step back

And observe for once

 

You even said

Some focus more on being reactionary

Than responsive

 

Did this deserve a reaction or a response?

I know I reacted poorly

So in response I will step back

And reevaluate

Amazing! There's an incredible amount of wisdom in this extremely perceptive piece of writing. I have been in the thick of things some times and missed the big picture. Stepping back always helps. Revisiting the same subject always helps. Superbly written and expressed.
