Anthem of Bitterness and Hatred

Anthem of Bitterness and Hatred

A Poem by Kevin

I am so dead and gone
The world is horrified.
I am the all-American.
There are abortions in my eyes.
I am the hater!
I am the reaper!
I am the Hateful Eight
Locked inside of my cell!

Hey, Alice!
Will you black my eyes again?!
Hey, Alice!
Can I put the stick right there in your hands?!
I am the crimson!
My hate's a prison!
How about we kill all of you
So that God will sort us out?!

Everybody's a slave to their sin!
I know you are, so am I!
I was born with so much bitterness within!
I don't need to say "I tried!"
Again...

No god will hear me praying
No god will ever hear me praying
No god will hear me praying
It's just me
The "Man That You Fear"!

Everybody's a slave to their sin!
I know you are, so am I!
I was born with so much bitterness within!
I don't need to say "I tried!"

Such emotion in these words, I see you've written from the heart and soul. The imagery and relations put together finely. And how you describe the call and how you never seem to receive an answer to your prayer, needing and wanting a savior, so deep and depressing. Just remember emotions are not who you are, they only deceive you from being who you can truly be. This piece pulls the strings of my heart, and makes me want to cry, but you've done a wonderful job here my friend.
