Enigmatic Mother Poem

Enigmatic Mother Poem

A Poem by Paul Allen Killebrew
"

It's a poem. I'd tell you more, but then there'd be no mystery.

"

Juno you are my January

Easterly winds I beg you carry me away

Nightingale's song takes flight from the evening cold

Longing for a break in the graven sky

Eager to flee the Unsung Song

Rabelaisian Executioner of my Psyche

Another Alpha to my Omega

Eden’s inhabitants Empty within

Grieving the taste Impotently taken

Laborious in the pursuit of the Encumbered

Amongst Winter’s breath you come to me

Vast is the Vacuum of your Presence

Return me here no more on Severed Wings

I'll give you a clue- it's NOT about a mother.
