i love Mondays atually

Mondays

I love Mondays when most people hate

I don't have to be anywhere so won't be late

I usually go back to bed when the kids leave for school

catch up on some sleep that I missed being a fool

when I arise clean the house head to toe

make the tea, make some cakes, bad I know

then chill in writer's café reading some great writes

and then she comes home with a pair of ripped tights

 and he's happy and smiling school wasn't so bad

that's Monday done kids no need to be sad

no long til Friday hang in there your doing well

I love Mondays actually, thought I would tell

It is so true, I being housewife, felt the same so many times. When we can actually watch ourselves breathe. Poetry is new to me, however before that..I loved being just me on Mondays. Life took a U turn for me after poetry started. lol!! Such a lovely and like minded read.

How we handle our "days" is a direct part of whom we are. 'Tude can give us the heart we need and the strength to follow through. Our lives are often what WE make of them ...and dealing is something we all get a chance at.
