Poem for my love :)

Now it's all rainbows and butterflies,
Looking into your brown eyes.
There's no where on earth I'd rather be
Than here with you next to me
The world's perfect with only blue skies.

When you smile down at me
I know you're all I'll ever need
You're perfect to me in every way
Every part of me wishes you to stay
'Cause we are meant to be, you see

Something in me has been lost
But now I see it was the cost
I see it was my heart that you've won
Because it never really did belong
With me, at least, I'm glad our paths crossed.

You save me from every nightmare
Whenever I'm down, you're there
I miss you when you're not around
Picking me up off the ground
I love you and how you're always fair

If there's any way I could
In a heartbeat I would
I would call you mine forever
There's no way I would say never
If you don't mind eternity, we should

I'll be there in a moment, my bird
All you have to do is say the word
I will sing you to sleep every night
If only to bring you some delight
Or be silent so only the sound of your breath is heard

All I've got to say is that, my dove
Out of everything that gives a shove
Or tries to get in our path
No matter what kind of wrath
You must know, my dear, this, I feel, is love.
