Seeking serenity

Enveloped by stupidity

Of those around me

Can’t seem to escape from ignorance

It envelopes me

 

I keep fighting

Trying to get away

From all this negativity

But it still comes my way

 

Trying to grow

Only to get pushed back down

Trying to love

Only to get cheated on

 

I gave my heart

With no equivocations

I’d give you, a stranger

The shirt off my back

Cause I love strangers for no reason

 

 

Wishing some1 would save me

Give back, reciprocate those feelings

Eternally

But this world is full of fallacy

In mind and in heart

 

I push you down

I tell you when I think your s**t sucks

I say it

Because I know you can produce better

I know who you are

I see you

I really see you

 

Got me in this mind f**k

Make me want to f**k up

Worked so hard w/o luck

I wish you’d f****n grow up

Bravo! This piece is the truth. This piece was like a 60 second thrill ride or something. It took me a couple of different places, just like on a roller coaster, with the dramatic finish at the end that made me want to get back in line and do it all over again!

I can feel the rawness of your words and it shines in this one! As intelligent as this write was, I think the emotion and frustration evoked took over it! It made it very entertaining and heartfelt. Great write!
