Change

Change

A Poem by KaplanKop

Now they said, what's the plan?
Five years till you're a man,
They went by, and I carried on living,
Just living, nothing special,
No need to try grand things,
Far too risky,
"he tried, but he took on too much, he was a good man." that's what they'd say about me if I lose everything and became homeless.
Empty words that don't fill bellies or give a roof. Keep the words and the change.
