Shooting stars fly through the night sky
putting on a show for the beautiful moon.
They are lucky for they can love.
The guy I dream of is just a fantasy;
In my dreams he is my savior, my inspiration...my motivator.
He holds me close in his arms shielding me from the chains of despair.
The one I dream of is sweet and honest
yet sometimes an oddball.
He makes me laugh when I am sad and
has me smile when I am crying.
I can't get enough of the one I dream of;
I hold him close to my heart.
He may seem boring yet
to me he is a colorful festival full of fun and joy.
The one I dream of loves me true and
never steers me wrong.
He helps me when I need it and
corrects me when I am wrong.
He's stuck in my head,
no matter how hard I try to kick him out.
He saved me from the bars I'm locked behind and
has been the greatest friend a girl could have.
I trust him with my heart and emotions
but I don't want to be a burden.
The one I dream of is carefree and hardworking.
Sad to say I'm a bit jealous of him
but him being a fantasy not much I can do.
I dream of him night and day.
He is my star, forever with me.
My sword, the stregnth I lean on.
Bringing me peace,
the one I dream of shines like a guardian angel.
The light has a warm radiant,
fleeting heartbeat reminding me that he is always there.
When I think of him nothing but pure happiness pours out.
For him I would do anything for...
for the one I dream of is the one I love...
