Say My Name

Say My Name

A Poem by Kay

There’s no meaning or attachment to my name,

except when your velvet breath blankets it.

It rises from nebulous funeral ash,

divinely blessed in the fractions of space between our mouths,

swelling in your aura’s sunlight.

Ergo, whenever you beckon me love,

I take my throne on your tongue.

An interesting point to note. When you're in love. That special someone saying out loud your name seems to have that sweet sensation on your senses. Great poem. Nice feelings.

My pleasure. And thanks for sharing your great poem Kay. Hugs Dawn.
I've noticed when someone we love or are infatuated with says our name it makes us feel special somehow. That internal fire gets stoked a bit.

Nice poem.
