John Bull jumbled jungle life,
Thinking life is made of trash.
Tumble rumble, now he's dashed,
Learning more to live aright.

I love the rhythm of this piece. It sounds like a children's skipping song. It reflects the damage done by imperialist powers over the decades. Britain left behind chaos in many places having gone there to civilise and then change all the boundaries and customs before leaving.
