Adrift

Adrift

A Poem by LETitBeKnown

I once could hear that smile with my eyes closed.

Every sound which brought me in. My mind would touch.

Each word enclosed with comfort yet without arms reach.

It was in the hours passing that, silence traced our bodies separate.

And before the boat turned. The water was so still.

But the warning was so clear. I could sense the drift.

About
Life is full of flaw. I can accept that. We create ourselves, but people don't see us the way we are. To you; I'm just an external image with a name. If I were to give you an internal piece of me, yo.. more..
