if only i could be as interesting as the people around you

you may not notice it, but you truly are amazing

so i think i should do the right thing

i shouldn't be selfish any longer

I should let you go, no matter how much my heart cries not to

you deserve someone that can truly make you happy

someone that knows how to protect you from pain

both physically and mentally

if i hold you any longer, while unable to stop u from crying

hear u say things like "You don't ever understand me"

and just speechlessly stare into your eyes

i will hate myself even more... but thats not why im letting go

you truly do deserve someone better

i will step back and just be a friend now

but lets be real, thats not how it works

Sorry i have to say, maybe you are the only one could make this angel happy in this life time, its very selfish just think of your side. Maybe leave this angel means kills her for life. Would you kill her. There is no one could compares, who you are to her, even you think you are piece of s**t, but never to her.

lol piece of s**t huh- was i truly selfish, for wanting whats best for her? when i know that her staying with me wouldn't help her in the future? Selfishness is clutching onto her when i can tell the relationship is going nowhere. Selfishness is wanting her for myself- to only think about how much I need her and not think about how i cant provide what she needs.... but hey whatever, i guess u probably in a relationship so its easy to judge??

i hear u, and i get it- i dont know what makes her happy and thats why i left but to say i did what i did for my own selfish reasons as a person that doesnt even know the whole story (only know what u've read in a poem) is a bit... "unnecessary". in any case, i dont want to get deep into this- if you want to critique my life choices message me instead of posting a comment over nothing that has to do with improving on writing
