Que the Biscuits

Que the Biscuits

A Poem by Ken e Bujold

Chimps are buying options
On pork belly futures;
Boss hog’s retired to Tampa
Having made a killing on frozen OJ;
The Juice is pedaling
Cryogenic preservation,
A splinter of a hedge
Against being wormed
Down a deep dark black hole.
The alphabet’s been slimmed back
To twenty-five acolytes
Revolving around a Roddenberry
Wannabe. Who gets to make the deal?
It’s three card Monty
Time in a bottle
So putin’ a dime on
The count of Monte Crisco.

A dime on the count is risky with the push against trans fats.

This is definitely a parody on the stock market.. and people who trade a lot, hedging on this and that...and also in gambling....one may get rich or slip into a deep dark hole and can't get out; most of them that do well , make the big time do retire in Florida where there are plenty of oranges.... maybe this guy owns most of the groves.... Fun poem

Wow, the back and forth and I'm up next lines in this are very cool. Frozen OJ and the Juice pedaling cryogenics. This was so much fun to read and decipher and you even got a Roddenberry in there, that is definitely a place no poem has gone before.
