Sharing a Drink They Call LonelinessA Poem by kennyBut its better than drinking alone
Sins that I can't repent,
For all my time has been spent. Chasing the wrong goals, And getting stuck on all the shoals. My sails lie low and slacked, And scars slowly rebuild whats cracked. The seas finally rest their fervor, But alas I can go no further. Left with no land in sight, And no way to fight. Now in an uneasy rest, All I can do is hope for the best. © 2010 kenny |
