Helplessly Numb

Helplessly Numb

A Poem by kenny

I long for an embrace from anyone,
a chance to feel the solidarity of someone.
The sweet scent of a woman's hair,
the feeling of walking on air.
The drumming heart of another,
to feel a love as strong as thunder.
To stare into those beautiful eyes,
to have a person not just a prize.
I long for a touch of anything,
just give me something.
Tired of cold nights,
and drawn out fights.
Sheltered in nothingness,
I cannot progress.

But alas I cannot do these things alone,
I just wish that soon, you come home.
Just give a me a sign, that's a start,
please, come back to my heart.
