KeepA Poem by kenny
To hold on to what I had,
And relapse into what was so sad. Every now and again the numbing fades, and you return to my heart with all your blades. Blood pours forth as it always does, and I forget what is, and become what was. Things I push myself from, Though the job wasn't done. you accomplished it on your own, better than I had ever known. But doubt will forever linger in my mind, coiled springs never to unwind. its easier just to accept that I failed. © 2011 kenny |
