England Today

England Today

A Poem by Twilight

Free enterprise,

and save the people,

end the purge of Christian teachings,

excessive rules and pointless meetings,

Procrastination and manipulation,

our Government lacks imagination,

Our problems seem to multiply,

whilst ministers lie,

a nation dies.....

Yep, that pretty much sums up our glorious nation. A gauntlet of pedantic and outmoded regulation and over complex beauracracy has reduced us to a stagnant state. Then again we are ruled by elderly wealthy people who have no idea what the effects of their elitist ignorance are for their 'subjects'. Interesting write, cheers, spence

You make it clear that England is having is own problems. I think that the Universe need a whole different attitude, if you know what I mean.

you could probably call this "the world today" .... short, sad but to the point, true... i still have hope though.. it's like we all are kind of plugged in to this one universal truth... things must change... a lot of damage has been done..
