An ellusion of faith

An ellusion of faith

A Poem by K.T.S

You ask the question very well

When will I be Arabelle?

Your rage and insults, how you yell.

And tell the lie you always tell.

You come to me, no sympathy

Oh, Arabelle, why can’t you be?

Your incapacity to see

And tell the lie you always tell.

You run from any claim of truth

Arabelle I’ll not be, sooth

Your coup to restore golden youth

And tell the lie you always tell.

You pray standing, eyes fixed on Him

Though Arabelle I have not been,

Your prayers conceal what you have seen

And tell the lie you always tell.

this may also, I suppose, be considered a religious piece.
