A Poem by Katie dominguez

Her sweet lips bellow my name as she walks past. Top lip swaying a passionate dance with bottom, behind them her tounge twists with anticipation of touch, but she keeps walking...

Closed off with only her thoughts to consume her mind; rushing and standing still at the brink of trust. She hesitates far too often than she should, a fault found in only in the most obscure. Too guarded to believe her own beating heart at times,  so she keeps walking....

Her eyes speak the words her mouth has not yet found the courage to learn. Starring deeply; searching for a connection, feeling,  action, anything to dissolve the numbness. To show her there's a reason not to keep walking.....

About
I write to process, it always comes out in poetry. Sometimes I find myself thinking the most poetic thoughts, but maybe I just put on a good show. I don't know if poets were meant to be lovers.... We.. more..
