i hear your call

i hear your call

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

Rising above shining through gray clouds that paint the night sky

A chilling wind nips at your skin

but even then you cannot turn from the moons haunting gaze

she bathes the world in a silver flame

that calms and captures the mind as well as the eye

she leaves a silence through the land

silver forests and fields lay just beyond your sheltered stone walls

to you the night calls

the silence is broken by a lone howl

it sends a shiver through you that not even the wind could manage

it beckons and calls to you

taking to your enlightened freedom you run heeding the call of the night

you have found something light something that brings such delight

you have found the freedom of the night

thank you :)
Well done, only one suggestion - you refer to the moon as she, then call the moon it. I would suggest instead of she you say - bathing the world... we know what you're referring to because of the beautiful picture you painted prior. If you stay with she, then make sure she leaves a silence through the land. Keep the pronouns persistent. This is a lovely piece, you did very well with giving a very beautiful picture of night and I can hear its call.
