Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by deathbroken
"

I am sure everyone has these at one point of your life. When someone you love as a friend, want you as something more... Rejection... Something harder than receiving one... Is giving one. This is something that has been bothering me for the past few days

"

can I do no wrong in your eyes?

am I perfect? standing on this pedestal.

am I flawless in everyway

that you just can't let me go?

I want you to be free.

I want you to move on

Yet you hold on oh so tightly

you grip just getting tighter and tighter.

So tight I can no longer breathe.

I'm so afraid.

so so afraid.

so afraid of doing something wrong.

of doing something I should not which would lead you on.

I am not afraid to tell you you have to go

you have to spread your wings and fly away

away from this black hole I call my soul

what have I ever did for you to deserve this?

I do not want you hurt

yet, its inevitable.

I want to protect you

making sure you wouldn't ever feel the pain

but how can I do that

when I'm the cause of it all?

matters of the heart.

its complicated

I can't make me feel what I don't

I am so sorry.

so so sorry.
