Hole Inside A Heart

Is it right for me to have this hole inside my heart?

Wanting some one there besides my side.

Fearing? Wondering.

Wishing not to care.

But deep inside I yearn

Wanting someone to be,

waiting always- always for me?

Yearning just to understand.

And yet as I grow, it's tearing me: piece by piece apart.

Growing angry hidden in the dark.

And so I wait and pray,

Trying just to say.

And yet all I wish and seek is that someone will be..

Maybe, maybe

Maybe..that person for me.

[Coyote Poetry]

The waiting is always hard. I tell the young people. Slow and easy. Heart is tender and can't be repaired easily. I like the desire and the questions brought to life by the excellent poetry.
