My Colour

My Colour

A Poem by KlineXcreed

Sometimes,
I think my life as water colour.
A mixture of blue,
A dab of charcoal black.
A streak of yellow sun.

At times I can only focus on the colour,
I can only see the paint around me.
Toxic chemicals burning my senses,
Growing me weary,

It's endless color.
Stretching on and on.
I think forever.

Yet if I look,
At the picture from a far It starts to make sense. Colors,
Blending,
Sunset fading in the wind.

Only it's only a glimpse.
Should I believe?
Believe it may be more than colour?

Very interesting imagery. I enjoyed the perplexity of perspective and how emotions can skew the ultimate visual outcome. Very thought provoking.
