These Words, Left Unspoken

These Words, Left Unspoken

A Poem by Alex Vidmar

How can I can describe how I feel about you?
How can I, when, when we talk,
My brain goes numb and my words are gibberish.
And my words, they are left unspoken...

When we message, I attempt to flirt,
But I was absent the day
They taught that in school.
And my words, are left unspoken...

I wish I could tell you how I truly feel,
But, again,
These words are left...
Unspoken.

I have written something like this when I was younger but have since lost the book they were in so it was nice to read this and be remembered of my own work. I think we all feel like this as young adults. feeling so many strong emotions and unale to draw up the courage to do anything about them. so we write to help dull the ache.

These words left unspoken is a line in BVB's-Savior Sometimes people say the words and they go unnoticed or are rejected or purposely ignored for certain reasons, but sometimes unanswered prayers and unspoken words are blessings ;) that's why people who have big mouths end up wishing they didn't XD

i know how that feels, when you can't tell someone how you feel. it suck's i know. i tend to stay in the corner, the only time i can really talk to someone i like is over the computer, and sometimes not even then. good job on this poem.. :) keep writing :)

Words always arrive at the wrong time, and escape you when it matters most. Great write, love the title.

Unspoken words leave us with wonder and sadness. I believe better to be rejected then never know what could of been? I like the longing feelings in the poem for words said. A very good ending to a excellent poem.
