You Laugh, I Laugh

You Laugh, I Laugh

A Poem by Kirsty Woodward

I can’t see me building my home

in your heart

or growing my garden

in your stomach

but your voice punches me in the ribs

every

time.

I love the title, it perfectly ties together the lines beneath it with the idea of being attached to someone. A unique presentation of that idea, in itself. Good work, I really liked this.
