Do Not Let Them Win - Part Two

Do Not Let Them Win - Part Two

A Poem by Kirsty Woodward

                          because your hair

will be just a little bit to shabby for them

                          your eyes

just a little bit too bright

                          your skin

just a little bit too rough for them

                          your tongue

just a little bit too sharp

I see them pouring water over your burning heart, my dear

do not let them put it out

                          you are a warrior

                          sharp as blade

                          soft as silk.

Loved the antithesis of being sharp and soft as silk Kristy.

Fantastic :) Never let others define who we are...the wise warrior knows to be humble but also knows themselves, this is epic :)
