Mountain Rain

Mountain Rain

A Poem by Klyn
"

Just a moment I wished I could stop in time.

"

We fly high above the treetops, soaring freely in the wind,

like birds of flight,oh magical beings viewing life on a whim.

The fresh, green smell of pine and the rustic nature abound,

I envelop myself in the beauty with all my senses; every sound.

If I could only make time stand still, no tick- tock of the clock,

I'd hold the hands of time so tight, I'd make it completely stop.

But I can't do that, I've not the strength, I must suffer in the pain,

So I'll hold on to those memories forever, those days of mountain rain.

with writing like this i do believe you have stopped time! poetry is far more vibrant then a photograph...it frames moments from deep within one's heart. well done!
