Someone Help Me

Someone Help Me

A Poem by 송지석 / Ji-Suk
"

Song about my past depression

"

What kind of therapy do I have to take
For me to live?
I want to talk about my complicated problems
But I’m so tired of dealing with them

I wish there was a world
Where all the people who like to torture me, disappear?
Sometimes, I ran away from the gossip targeted to me
Sometimes, I hid my face from their cruel stares

I’m trapped in them
Help me, please tonight
Somebody help me please tonight

Is everyone the same as me with problems
But just easily holding it in?
Or am I the only bitter person who acts like I am the only one with this issue?

I’m trapped in them
Help me, please tonight
Somebody help me please tonight

When daylight approaches again
Will I be able to get out of my misery? Somebody help
All the things that I wanted to change about myself
Will they just stay the same?

Ji Suk,
'Someone Help Me,
It is apparent with the design within the human heart the need to be affirmed and to hear and be heard. This reads like an honest cry out to a someone which can help. I can identify with your words. Pain, trauma, difficulties are the result of trauma. If you had been addressing the Lord God Allmighty i'd of thought this sounded like a prayer. It was beautiful and hones.
Blessings,
Kathy

Internal struggle is the hardest. We are killed off by our own disappointment sometimes. I liked the honest thoughts and directness of the words. I learn years ago. Tell the world to f-off and I did what I needed to do. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry. You made the reader think.
