In My Fantasy

In My Fantasy

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

I feel so warm in my fantasy.
It is so good for me to die
in the name of loneliness.

Before the Earth brightens
beneath me,
give me one sip of the emerald sky.
Before silence covers
the tired mouth wound,
become my beacon,
my unfulfilled crossroads.

Thank you for that morning
when I became a woman,
when you planted a purple flower
of lost lust in me.

Stay in my past, do not leave
what is not yet named.
I was born in the wrong age,
all I need is tears to be completely happy.

Please bring me a rustle of wind
in your hair, bring me a look
that knows the taste of my soul.

I believe death will pass away

when you give me the forbidden fruit

that will satisfy my fear.
