This Mad Journey

This Mad Journey

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

I miss dreams again, I suffer from

lack of desires again.

Words are hidden under

a curtain of light, thoughts

do not know the way

that leads to the end

of this mad journey through

black and white consciences.

Teach me how to walk

so that fear doesn't end,

so that life lets me breathe

a sigh of relief.

Free me from the demons

in the cage of my head, rid me of

nightmares about the future.

Don't call thoughts by their names,

it's not worth it.

Agree, let love apologize to us

for all the scars. Hatred,

unaccustomed to light, dies

in no one's arms.
