Perpetuum

Perpetuum

A Poem by Xberg

Eyes wash the world in cold dark charisma,
Clutched at a wall that orphaned a city.
Indigo lights call silent the bahnhoff,
On leather shoulders flick dip dap August.
The bright from the late shops,
Warm winds at midnight,
Brush silhouette graffiti unmoved by the rain.

This snippet of life is done with lots of originality & vivid imagery. I love the way you show something of a clash between the harsh manmade city and a stormy night sent by nature. Lots of interesting word choices to add to your interesting scene (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I like the first two lines. I feel like they capture a critique on idealism. I like the irony in this piece a lot.
