War in the Middle East

War in the Middle East

A Poem by Kris
"

Poem regarding the hopeless state of affairs in the war on terrorism

"

The endless war in the middle east
Calls into question the nature of man, we're in need of a priest
Soldiers, citizens, families and friends
The vast array of people in the street endlessly blends
Bullets fly,
And people die
Innocent or guilty there is no law
In this era of hailing to the almighty Allah
We fight for all the wrong reasons
Soldiers can't run otherwise they're committing treason
Politicians promise to bring it to an end
But the countless wounds are past the simple means to mend
