Hair Full of Petals

Hair Full of Petals

A Poem by KristynRuth

Cancer is like a beautiful fully bloomed flower that wilts and nearly dies

Losing all it's petals and color

Only to rebloom and become the most vibrant flower

With full soft petals and a scent that can give the bees a reason to live another day

It strips you of your crown and weakens your spirit

You lay awaiting death to relieve you of your obligation to breathe

But eventually a miraculous moment passes -- You begin to feel alive again

Remembering what life has to offer you and how it felt to make someone smile

You grasp that moment and you hang on like you never have before

It brings you into the sunlight where the sun blinds the bees with its shine

You are given a chance again to see the world though another lens

Cancer may eat at your soul, but don't worry my friend, it comes back even richer

Être venu ainsi près de la mort et encore survivre. C'est un grand cadeau pour savoir une telle joie que le fait de vaincre le cancer. Vous êtes une vieille âme. Je ça aime dans vous. pouvez vous vivre mille ans Tate

This is sad, yet very happy. Encouraging words for one's who deal with this, as I see you have. Welcome back into the sunlight, very happy you are here.
