Mirror

Mirror

A Poem by Serendipity

If I step on the other side of the mirror

what would I see?

would I see a mirror image of the same old me?

or would I step into a place

where fantasies roam free

a place where I could be completely different

and nothing at all like me......

Ah- thought is very evident in this poem.
Surely many others have questioned the same ideas as you have- and you mirror them well. It's a soothing idea to think that on the other side of a mirror we are given a world of magic and abstractness, a place where everything impossible becomes possible. Some say that mirrors are simply tricks of light. Those people need to stop inhibiting their imaginations.

Anyways, wonderful poem ;)

Such a wonderful thought....and such a well written poem. It leaves alot of question to be desired...., as to what is one the other side..., kind of makes you want to see the other side, and see if there is truly another world...with another existance awaiting us on the other side....or if we just see the same thing from our own daily eyes. This is such a great poem. I love it!
