Solid Sea

Through Oceans and through Lakes

The waves upon the sea

Flowing though the river bounds

Making its way towards me

The summer day blue

The pink kissed sky

The black inked night lolling by

Here I am upon the tide

Watching as the sea goes by

Like glass the sailor cuts

The ripples fall in line

From dusk to dawn 

The heat is gone

Thumping against the pier

The sea reminds me that it's there

The chaos the day brought has been forgotten

The sea itself has forgiven

Solid depths of the black reflection

The sea remains, it stays, it's solid.
