These Voices, These Memories

These Voices, These Memories

A Poem by Jan

These voices; words barricade the gates of my kingdom

I want my kingdom of my mind to live in peace and harmony, not brutal wars and be left with battle scars that'll last for who knows how long!

I want to rule my kingdom with no doubts and a head held high, but I'm not strong enough to give the orders

I want my people to always be there by my side, ready to fight when commanded or help me rise when I fall from my throne

I want my enemies to feel the wrath of how much pain they caused me and much more for future reference

I want others to see my kingdom and understand it so they can't shoot a catapult of negativity to ruin my walls without notice or reason

I want others to understand and relate so we can be alllies and fight for eachother when one is attacked

I want to hear voices begging for mercy as they pay for their cruel sins that they committed

I want my kingdom to be MY kingdom and under MY rule

I want to rule with a strong fist and not be some others puppet whom repeats their master's words

I want my kingdom to be noticed, to be accepted, to bring peace to others, but most importantly...

I want my kingdom to be remembered

We all have our own stories, Our own thoughts and beliefs, Our own dreams... Some of us are outgoing and can conquer the world, Others are shy and keep quiet to themselves away, Then there's th.. more..
