Black Lies

Black Lies

A Poem by La Belle Musical
"

It's a poem. Plain and simple.

"

Merry tales and secret stories

Share common ground with lies

Told in assumed protection

For ones own righteousness.

Paid for w****s and sexual duties

Speak volumes lips never could.

Children gasp at such blunt horrors,

Yet admit deep down to it’s utility.

No one can lie when all the lies are told;

And no one can hide when eyes are always watching.

The dead of night is never dark enough

And the dead know no sleep.

Keep your lies, I’ve got business to attend to.

Author's Note

La Belle Musical
So, a few spelling/gramatical errors I know slipped by me, but I'm not sure where... also, it's a bit of harsh, in-your-face kind of poem, so be just as harsh and in your face, pretty please and thank you.
