New Age Woes

New Age Woes

A Poem by La Belle Musical
"

Who said today is better than yesterday?

"

Star-spangled banners shift in

Northern winds as democracy falls.

Titans rise from history’s bowls

As hard learned lessons are forgotten.

War becomes the only answer,

As politicians crash and burn.

Countries divide and nations rebel

Against all sane thoughts.

Welcome to the twenty-first century.
