Your sweet, caring voice is carried by the wind

You are my comfort, you are my friend

no matter how far apart

you'll always and forever

stay so very, very close within my soul

 

It is peace when my heart feels weak

Its nourishment when my hungry soul needs fed

A kind and gentle voice

when the world comes crashing to the ground

A helpful, encouraging word

A thought to soothe a heavy, troubled heart

when all others get me down

 

I’ll listen for your sounds

Pay attention to your kind, helpful words

as you contemplate your busy world

and what lies so very deep within

And, no matter what...

you’ll always be my friend

 

I ‘ll be your shoulder to lean on

when life is getting you down
